I came across this quarter pipe transition perfectly tucked in this smooth ditch area. It was about 12 feet deep. The snow packed itself just right...A lot like skating on a vert ramp... Snowboarding was still in its beginnings and this was not a common thing yet...I brought Trevor and a few of our other friends up to this area to session. It was perfect... I was doing frontside airs and handplants all day... Trevor Graves just knew how to catch the moment... Neither of us could even have imagined it would carry forward still to this day. Trevor really captured something special...a moment in snowboarding history. -Scott Clum.
